Since 1991 he works in various practices and clinics in the Netherlands and China. For many years he was a teacher and education manager at the Academie voor Chinese Geneeswijze QingBai, right now he teaches as a visiting lecturer in several countries in Europe and publishes in many professional magazines.

Because of his wide interest in the relation between Chinese medicine and nonlinear dynamics he got involved in the scientific research of the Sino-Dutch Research Center for Preventive and Personalized Medicine from TNO.

Recently, he founded Oxrider Academy, a school that provides education and further training in Chinese medicine and system theories in biology and medicine.
