Jason Smith
Jason Smith is a Spanish American physiotherapist (San Rafael Ciencias de la Salud, Madrid) and an esteemed Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) teacher and practitioner based in Madrid. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Saint Louis University, Missouri. His journey into TCM began in 2002, culminating in 2007 following an advanced study trip to China.

In 2008, he specialized in Facial Rejuvenation techniques. His expertise in this field—then a novelty in Spain—led to features on national television programs such as España Directo and Madrid Directo. In 2014, Jason integrated Dr. Richard Tan’s Balance Method into his practice. This exploration led him to work with Robert Doane and specialize in Jimmy Chang’s Pulsynergy system, mastering the critical “missing piece” of pulse diagnosis.
Alongside Maciocia, he co-founded the Giovanni Maciocia International School of TCM in 2015, which saw over 200 students enroll in just two years before Maciocia’s passing in 2018. Today, he directs Jason Smith MTC in Madrid. His teaching style integrates:
